Enoagricola Rossi S.r.l. came into being on 4
January 1982, thanks to the wishes of the present Partners to
re-activate the production line of a pre-existing engineering industry
which had operated in the agricultural machine sector, especially wine
production.
The early years required determination to take on competitors and to
meet the financial liabilities which were necessary to allow the company
to obtain the resources it needed. The company was greatly helped by the
many clients who were willing to put their faith in this new venture,
and to suppliers who extended the necessary lines of credit. The
experience gained by the Partners in various areas of company
organisation and management did the rest, and now the Company could look
to the future with a degree of confidence.
Evidence of progress against competitors was confirmed when
Federconsorzi Italia (the Italian Federation of Agricultural Unions)
chose Enoagricola Rossi as its supplier of wine-making machinery and
agricultural equipment. During the 1990s, the Company took the strategic
decision to expand into foreign markets; to this end, it concentrated on
greater diversity of products, investing substantial resources both in
development and the promotion of the commercial network.
Thus the company is now in a position to design and supply the following
product lines:
hay-making equipment, including large-capacity machines for use in Italy
and abroad by commercial farms involved in high volumes of reaping and
harvesting of hay;
oil-processing machines, mainly designed for the home market or for
small companies which process limited quantities, but nevertheless wish
to carry our the whole operation themselves;
wine-making equipment, including that which is mainly intended for
domestic customers or small companies.
The Company has almost trebled its turnover in the last ten years
At present, the Firm has 45 direct employees and is provided with a
network of high-quality Suppliers who carry out engineering operations
with high technological content (in particular, casting, laser welding
and thermic treatments).
The challenge of international markets and globalisation in the area of
agricultural machinery and equipment, and especially the North American
market, has been met with great success, thanks to a policy of marketing
and quality which is attentive to customers’ needs and expectations. Due
particularly to the high level of personalisation of the machinery and
equipment supplied, and a dedicated policy of assistance, Enoagricola
Rossi today exports more than 1.80% of its output to the United States.
It has also made inroads into the North African and Australian markets
and is an important manufacturer for the Italian and European market. |
